After working for architectural firms in London and South Africa he moved to Long Island in 2000, where he spent several years as a Designer and Project Manager for some of the best architects on the East End, including Frederick Stelle, James Merrell, and Blaze Makoid. During this period he designed several high-end residences, including modern waterfront homes, throughout the Hamptons.

Heidi J Jordan

A native of the East End, Heidi grew up among the bays and vineyards of the North Fork. She studied Architecture at Syracuse University, graduating in 1999. During her studies she lived in Florence, Italy and made several research trips to Haiti.

After returning to Long Island she worked as a Designer for a number of notable firms on the South Fork, including James Merrell Architects, Stelle Architects, and David Berridge, Architect. She co-designed several award-winning projects while developing an interest in the intersection of modern planning with traditional building forms.

Since 2008 she has owned and operated “Detail 37”, a design, graphics and photography firm. In 2014 she launched Modern Shelter Architecture, with Grayson.

When she’s not thinking of better ways to communicate ideas graphically, she enjoys plein air painting, cooking with her girls, and playing piano.
